I would have thought that you could elbow from more distance if you close the distance by stepping quickly forward, whilst performing the move.

Absolutely, but in my opinion you should elbow hits when you’re already close to the other person 👊🏼

This is really good instruction! Can you explain more about the horizontal elbow being tight? I am not sure how to execute that. Bring the forearm closer to the bicep?💪 Yhank you again

Yes exactly, not just to protect your elbow but also to make it more stiffer
