During the top rounds of a regional event, I'm pretty sure the DUELIST wins more games than anything. I'm a long-time Watt player and I agree that this build is nothing new, but give the guy credit for piloting it to the top.

hells yeah, i been trolling local with watts for like a month now. its fun to play cause its like the last real control deck of the meta. people will hate, but this takes way more skill to play than almost any other deck out there now. glad he won.

that deck relies on the hopper-lock, meaning that he uses the effect of watthopper to make sure the opponent cant do shit when he has 2 on the field while he pounds the guy with direct attacks. if you dont know what the card does, look it up

summon rabbit, chain the fiendish chain and its basically a dead card. craw fiendish chain when laggia is out, force it to use its effect. use fiendish chain on dolkka, makes your snowman eaters and other cards a lot more usable

I hate to slam a guy who just won a regional, but he did a terrible job modifying the deck that topped European Nats, and he doesn't even seem to understand the deck. It's terrifying to think that Watt Do!? is so powerful/unexpected that this kid won with it. Worse, Robbie just posted it for all the netdeckers to see rather than letting it continue to fly beneath the radar. Here's hoping for an emergency ban list hitting Hopper to one.

This exact same deck topped at one of Europe's nationals. I believe the only thing different is the extra and side.

Its funny because I know him in real life and we would never netdeck. Hes constantly at my house, and if he'd find a card in my extras that seems good he would use it...He is like the nicest guy in real life; I doubt he even knows a Watt deck topped in regionals in Europe...

What is the difference!?!? Their both decks! You can put originality in those decks! Those are just the way to top easier. You can make any deck your own depending on your techs. And we are talking about exactly the same thing here. It doesnt matter the Tier of the deck. Most decks are only ran efficently one way so most people replicate that. I don't see how its different for a not "Top Tier" deck...

The difference is that in those top tier decks there is little to no room to make the deck different from the others. This isn't top tier so you can screw around with it a lot and make it your own. And exactly the same and pretty much the same are completely different.
