Yea I spent a long time in previous sales closely comparing premes to get and even after getting the aforementioned premiums, i just couldn't justify buying this thing. It's a cool option but i would only recommend for the completionist

I got it or the Leo A1A1 L/44 w/ the no longer available Sea Hawk Mk.100 in a pack. Having played the M47 myself, it's just not good. Exactly ZERO reason to even remotely consider buying this over the Ru 251. Considering the Ru 251 is literally just a Leopard but smaller and at 7.3, there's nothing the M47 does better than it enough to warrant buying M47.

As someone who has 300 game in it, I can say that its pretty good (performs better than m48) but if the turm 3 was on sale then it would be your better choice, if u buy this with ru 251 then it can be pretty fun but as of now 7.3 only has 1 tech tree vehicle so u dont really have any lineups sadly. I recommend this if u want to spend less or stay at mid tier.

@@288gto7 well for me the armour doesnt compensate enough for me, you dont get a reverse gear, you have 4 crew members instead of 5, slower turret traverse, m48 has a bigger profile , u only have 1 50 cal which is in the cupola, you are much slower (this excludes the german variant) and its at 7.7 unlike 7.3.

And has actually better armor then the Leo 1s so it has same / slightly better mobility while being more survivable

the other day i shot one of these things in the side but i noticed i got to two kills , what happened was that my le 100mm shell from the lorraine (the turretless td) penned this thing and killed some armored car behind it , both targets were destroyed in the process somehow but hey

No Stabbs but the Ru251 and this M47 both same BR not to bad premiums at least in the same BR for a line up even though there isnt much at 7.3 in Germany

man that tank was always sad even back in the 2017 days also never met one in battle as far as I remember The M47 is just a sad tank in WT cause it suffers from it br. Also in the same Update (New Era) the Object 120 was released ....

As others have stated, the mKPz M47 is just not good. Its okay, but its surrounded on all sides by premium vehicles that are, objectively, better. The Ru 251, Turm III, Leopard A1A1 L/44. This is the worst of the bunch without question. Maybe on a 50% discount, if you have 5,000 GE laying around but even then i dont recommend it.

It's aggressively mid in my experience. I'd get it if you really like the normal m47 but it's at a weird spot in the tech tree

That'd make it quite hard to balance stuff like the Maus, and have problems with tanks made immediately after the war or in the gray zone (ex the IS-3). Not to mention countries like Sweden that have some low-tier stuff from way post WW2
