@GospelMusicians Let me say this first, Thank God for you Jamal because I finally find someone who is passionate about the MOTIF and some what Yamaha and their great sounding instruments. Your videos are great to watch, I njoy every minute of them. Trust me, I went to my bed this morning at 2:45am trying to familiarize and appreciate the MOTIF XS sounds thanks to your videos.

@93isanchez Not necessarily! It's not like a new DVD. They are sounds of an MKS-20 module. Just think of it like purchasing the MKS module inside your Motif. The MKS is an old module, so no new module will come out :)

Great way to capture a great instrument. One correction, the SA technology was called Structured adaptive synthesis. It was developed specifically for this instrument The only thing (and this is not a gripe by any means), there were editable parameters within the Mks-20 that allowed you to change the color, Eq, and effects on the patches. so I wouldn't sell that module just yet. That being said, a great way for this legendary piece to be used in todays setups___great Job!!

@ADAMOLOGY The sounds will only work for the Motif ES/XS/XF and will only be available for those keyboards. All other Motifs and S90"s do not have sample RAM. I will not make it available for the Motif Classic, because it cannot store enough RAM. That's one reason I bought the ES, because of that, but most people don't know the advantage of sample RAM.

The samples are as close as close can get......i didn't know that the mks cud b sampled.... i just bought a mks sound module.......i love it....I don't have a motif...so i will have to keep the module...but I love the samples they are great...love the eps....yu are great...Bless yu bro....ur an inspiration to many....

@anthony01311982 Only the Yamaha Motif ES/XS/XF. The Phantoms use a proprietary format on the samples and not enough RAM memory for the samples.

@RGMultimedia The sounds load into the User banks. I'm pretty sure you should be able to if your editor allows you to edit the sounds in the user bank. Either way, you can tweak them using your XS as well. We programmed almost 32 patches of sounds, so we have almost every combination you could need. You will be all set man!

@setitstraight100 Load time on the ES is about 12 min. Load time on the XS is about 4 min. There are no samplers other than the new XF that have Flash, so on Roland, Korg too you have to load when you turn it off. That's just life. Even if you use Mainstage, you have to load. Getting the XS helps, because the load time is about 5 times faster than the ES.

@hotdaddyg2k Unfortunately NO! The sounds require sample RAM, because they are brand new waveforms that are not in the keyboard. the XS Rack does not allow for sample RAM.

@tdubb86 It is impossible to have these sounds for the MO8. The MO8 cannot take sample RAM or load in new samples. The only way, really, for a keyboard to be able to get BRAND NEW sounds is to load in new waveform samples and the other Motif's have that ability.

if u have a motif keybord. u can get those sounds by editing your own sound. just work hard and listen to it. mix a piano with ep. and edit the chorus, reverb and equalizer.

Your personal patches are awesome. Will this work with the Yamaha S90 which has factory sounds of the motif. My S90 has the same expansion boards of the motif and a memory slot is included for SmartMedia (3.3V) cards up to 128 MB. and has a mLAN slot.

@brandonelliot I just sold my P-330 the other day and kept the MKS. I actually thought their was a slight difference between the MKS-20 & MKS-20. Maybe it's just my units but the MKS seemed to cut better for me than the P-330.

Sold out man you've gotta get a laptop. You've to get something over a Motif XS. Like a Yamaha Motif XF, Yamaha Moxf, Yamaha Modx and the Yamaha Montage. Get the midi version its the same thing.
