I ordered some billet aluminum folding pedals for my ebike. One of the stock folding plastic pedals broke.

Thanks for watching. Good question! At 5:15 I can't tighten anymore because no more gap for the spanner for tightening. Lucky, I also have allen key for pedal replacement.

@Albert Domingo I mean you have a pedal spanner in your tools, not the one you were using. it has an orange handle! by the way, I just fitted mine because of your review, they're great!

in your opinion, are these pedals worth adding the extra weight to the bike?

For convenience, for its toughness... really worth that extra weight on our couple bikes. I find this much practical than those detachable lighter pedals. I thought about this too, so i bought 1 for me first then I tried my friend's bike using the detachable pedals. I'm using my bike everyday going to work and much easier to press once to fold than detach & attach (2 steps).
