Hi, I have three of the SERVO42C, and I noticed that by default light torque load can deflect the shaft by 2-3 degrees without the motor fighting hard to correct it, this leads to poorly defined edges on moves and a loose hold that is susceptible to vibration, I think it might be the torque setting or perhaps the PID values need tuning, do you have any tutorials on this?

@HEC MG Yep, I upped the "accel" value to 1024, I think it's called accel... one of the last few options as you scroll through the menu, it's not "perfect" but it's better than most steppers at a fraction of the current, could be called Torq... you'll know it when you see it, not close to one now, otherwise I'd check

This is a fine video but one step is HIGHLY needed or explained. What power supply do you need to power the motor for the first time. 12v or 24v. Please, Please add to video!!!!!!!

What driver to select or set in MARLIN FIRMWARE? I have used TMC2209, TMC2208 and others. I want to use these on x and y (a and b) for core xy and TMC2208 on z and TMC2209 on extruder for linier advance. So what to select for X and Y in Marlin

No need to choose, just connect the driver

Is the Servo42C v1.0 just a firmware upgrade to v1.1? Is this a new board design? Is there a link to show how to upload the firmware?

Is this already the third version of the MKS42 Servo?
@郭俊云3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are 42A, 42B and 42C.

@@郭俊云 So the version C is new right? :)

@@dunichtich100 yes,42C is new.

It look like it is at least a second version just by looking at the model number. I would check out and read the manuals for both the "C" and "B" version to get a sense of what if any differences are.

will the servo42c board work with the servo42b motors? If so where can i buy the boardkit only, with sensormagnet in europe? i have 4 sevo42b lying unused

Hi, there was a problem with these drivers( I can’t get them to work stable, there are shifts during idle movements( Firmware marlin 2.0.x, motherboard skr v1.3, printer with coreXY kinematics

I have the same problem when I connect two drivers / motors in parallel without losing steps? I have dual X and dual Y steppers. when I used Servo 42C, there are missing steps and drifts when the load is high.

Sweet stepper motor. Has anyone used this MKS Servo42 in an Arduino project? 😎 Thanks.

Hi, I have an Ender3 Pro which I want to upgrade to a closed loop due to a few shifting I had recently. I just bought the board,( SKR V1.4 Turbo), 2 motors (S42B) with it's drivers, 1 TFT35 Screen and I want to run the same examples you do in this video, Problem is, on start, the screen doesn't show anything, I think the board needs a firmware. I have no idea of how to get it loaded to the board. Please help.
@makerbaseteam42173 жыл бұрын
Which TFT35? The moving interface and moving axis on the screen are the same as those in the video

In the zero mode it will only go back to the 0 point within one rotation.

Just remember this is version "C" not version "B" so the procedure might not be the same.
