IMPORTANT: The SOM used is a bit different to normal. It takes into account the speed of things like the water current and inclines which is why it appears I am moving slower/faster than the regular SOM would indicate. This is to show why the strats I used in the tunnel clearly save time.

I don't really know what to say. I started playing this because I saw some of my friends talking about KC and its un-used strats one night so I had a look and thought I'd give them a go. Safe to say I did NOT expect to improve by such a large margin only 2 days after.
However, I am actually not the first person to use these strats. Wanna give a huge shout out to Jongwoo. He is one of the best wii wheelers in the world and is the one who innovated these strats having used them in his BKS lap (now former). He is an incredible innovator and I have no doubt he will continue to innovate.
Run analysis:
Lap 1: 45.791 - The lap itself is pretty good for current standard. It actually only has 1 major time loss which was an unlucky slip drift before the water. The strats later in the run were really good and the ending was decent aswell.
Lap 2: 45.900 - Pretty rough to be honest. Drop first straight, average 1st ramp and a fairly improvable landing all together lost over .1 easily. The shroomless was pretty bad aswell losing almost if not another .1, the strats in the tunnel were decent but not as good as lap 1, rest of the driving was nice.
Lap 3 - 45.856 - Average. Half 1st straight, the ramp was good but I tricked too early giving me more air but thankfully I got a good landing so it wasn't too bad. Driving after is ok but can clearly be better. Hit grass on turn before water. Good shroomless, strats in the tunnel was ok but is the worst of all 3 laps (i detached from the wall very early sending me very wide), I was very lucky to beat the zapper considering that. Thankfully the ending was held together fairly well.
This time may look extremely strong, but it's clear that quite a bit more can be pushed with these strats. What I find rather interesting is the laps which give pacelocks have practically reversed. The only lap which gave no problems is now the lap which will cause the most problems, being lap 2. However it is nice that the zappers on laps 1 and 3 (especially lap 3) can be beaten now.
I will be taking a break for about a week or so due to the heatwave we're having, but I will be playing this track when I come back (may stream too) and will probably go for at least a 2:17.3xx in the future.
