[MKWii TAF] Coconut Mall Freerun (Infinite Shrooms)

Hey, guys! I am very happy to share this run with you, as it is without a doubt my best TAF so far (it is also the TAF I spent the most time on, which I started finding glitches on since the last summer, and the run started coming together in January). I was hoping I would be able to get the time of the run to at least 4 minutes, but the fact that this track has been used in so many TAFs, exploited time and time again, it was hard enough to make it fit outside 3 minute (while keeping the run quick paced, with new glitches of course). Still, due to the run being far too short to fit the standard playtime of most freeruns, I decided to add a decent clip I made like 2 months ago on custom track Spike Desert, which I hope helps me get the best I possibly can out of this video. I will be on summer vacation in 2 months from now, so expect much more activity from this channel then. :)

This is probably one of the most inspiring comments I have ever received on any of my videos. It's stuff like this that gets me to continue this channel long after MKWii began to lose it's community. Seeing how I got to the 40 like mark less than 15 hours after its upload, this game still has some community left to it, and people are still into the idea of TAS/TAFing.

+HumdrumAnt I go into the graphics area in dolphin, then select the "enhancements" tab through the graphics window. From that point I change the internal resolution to 4x native, and dump frames at full frames (uncompressed). I use Sony Vegas to render it at 1080x720 60fps.

I am not going to write a huge paragraph like everyone else on how great your run was, but I will say a few things. First, please dont tell me how you will never be good at tafs. Give yourself some credit (actually a lot of credit) and dont try and deny that your tafs are awesome. I know everyone is their own worst critic, but what you were saying was kind of ridiculous :P. Anyways, nice job on those tafs. :) I guess that was kind of a long paragraph, so I guess I am officially a fanboy. I will be on skype more in probably a little more than a week.
