Hey Troy. Been a big fan since the oldschool days. The days where you were one of the first people to show that you could fall out of bounds on Maple Treeway near the end of the track (legit!) and explore the ground area for quite a while. Seeing how broken this game really is, 14 years after I first discovered your channel, is just...pure insanity. Pure nostalgic memories all around. the wario's goldmine world record just shows how alive the community is. remember when the record was with luigi when the strat was first discovered? then someone managed to do it with mach bike and now it got optimized so it's possible even with funky kong. just amazing to be here to witness this crazy ride

The funniest part is when Troy says he would never try to do that ridiculously difficult maneuver on Grumble Volcano, because one time he did try to beat the world record's first lap by using the modded feather item and gave up after hours of failed attempts. A really subtle and passive agressive callback to the suffering he had put himself through.

i get the all glitched but how does the game count the laps? by being out of bounds? to me it just looks like they jump out the map turn around in circles, then there automatically on lap 2? i dont ger the science behind this

There are checkpoints and key checkpoints to track where you are at. If you can get to the last key checkpoint, without triggering the first minor checkpoint it thinks you are at the end of the track. Hope this helps

Phantom is used on rr ultra because it gets the clip about 10x easier. Every outside drift bike can do the cart shortcut

Flame runner is more versatile and balanced in strengths but the spear is much faster and has worse turning. Depending on the track, you might need speed more than turning.

@@Prypak when you do the wallclip at the start, the game thinks your still on the finish line and therefore loads the last KCP, meaning you can do whatever you want to get to the last KCP besides crossing into KCP1

this reminds me of words that a lot of people I know state this is either a kid that plays to much or someone who as to much time on their hands. makes me never want to play the game every again or not even buy it since its so broken. why cant people just play the game instead of acting like a game tester trying to break it. broken games are only fun if people follow a morel code and understand not everyone has all that time to play the game religiously. Mario kart Wii is on my do not buy list. I don't bother with broken games due to they are not fun.
