Yooo thank you for reacting to both my Rainbow Road and DKJP runs! You asked how long it takes to make the rainbow road glitch, it can vary a lot. I'd say once every 15-30 minutes on average but that's me estimating. I think you should try the glitch some time...

Hey Troy. Been a big fan since the oldschool days. The days where you were one of the first people to show that you could fall out of bounds on Maple Treeway near the end of the track (legit!) and explore the ground area for quite a while. Seeing how broken this game really is, 14 years after I first discovered your channel, is just...pure insanity. Pure nostalgic memories all around. The funniest part is when Troy says he would never try to do that ridiculously difficult maneuver on Grumble Volcano, because one time he did try to beat the world record's first lap by using the modded feather item and gave up after hours of failed attempts. A really subtle and passive agressive callback to the suffering he had put himself through.

the wario's goldmine world record just shows how alive the community is. remember when the record was with luigi when the strat was first discovered? then someone managed to do it with mach bike and now it got optimized so it's possible even with funky kong. just amazing to be here to witness this crazy ride

Just thinking how all of these WRs have always been technically possible since the game’s release baffles me. Imagine being a kid in 08, checking the global rankings just to see the phantom on rainbow road or the zip zip on gba shy guy beach decimating the top 10 time trials.

i get the all glitched but how does the game count the laps? by being out of bounds? to me it just looks like they jump out the map turn around in circles, then there automatically on lap 2? i dont ger the science behind this

My theory for the 2 glitch lap 1/3 is that theyre going for wr with 1 glitch, realise theyre missing the time and so go for the hail mary

Troy. Do you think it is possible to use clipping off the front of an outside drifting bike to make some pole clips easier. It does get a weird angle though I have only been able to get it on Parkway

Why do people use the Phantom/Spear more in ultra shortcuts than the Flame Runner? I am not familiar with the difference

Flame runner is more versatile and balanced in strengths but the spear is much faster and has worse turning. Depending on the track, you might need speed more than turning.

Phantom is used on rr ultra because it gets the clip about 10x easier. Every outside drift bike can do the cart shortcut

@@Prypakyou do the first part to skip KCP1 so you can do the other shortcut after the cannon and have the lap count

@@tefhypr2 oh I get it, I had figured it was in order to be able to do the second shortcut and finish the lap. However, I don't get how you only collect the last checkpoint that way

@@Prypak when you do the wallclip at the start, the game thinks your still on the finish line and therefore loads the last KCP, meaning you can do whatever you want to get to the last KCP besides crossing into KCP1
