Pretty cool results. I do find it pretty funny how superhopping was excluded when only inside-drifting bikes are allowed. If someone started superhopping, I think that would warrant them a win honestly

Just realized that this version of SNES Rainbow Road has an actual recording of someone playing the original SNES Rainbow Road superimposed on the track. Impressive stuff.

It is so funny you can trick off the sides of the track. Absolutely no way to pull that off unless you're doing a TAS. Love it

Here's a crazy idea for a Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS): A "100% RNG Manipulation Marathon" in a game like Pokémon Red/Blue or Final Fantasy. This TAS would focus on manipulating Random Number Generators (RNG) in the most absurd and creative ways possible, achieving improbable outcomes that no human player could replicate consistently. Here's what could happen: Key Ideas: 1. Always Catch Shiny/Legendary Pokémon: Manipulate the RNG so that every wild encounter is a rare shiny or legendary Pokémon, even in places where they shouldn't be encountered. It would make the audience question reality! 2. Instant Critical Hits/Max Stats: Every single attack lands a critical hit, every stat boost from leveling up hits the max possible value, and even the enemy AI behaves in predictable ways (e.g., always using moves that don't work). 3. Frame-Perfect Item Drops in RPGs: Manipulate enemy drops to get the rarest items every single time, breaking the game by getting ultimate equipment within minutes of starting. 4. Skip Random Encounters or Alter Worlds: Use frame-perfect movement to manipulate encounter checks and avoid or initiate fights at just the right times. Or even force the game to load unintended maps by messing with the RNG values of certain events. 5. Glitch World Runs: TAS could intentionally corrupt or glitch the world as it progresses, causing hilarious and random transformations of the game world, characters, and story. 6. Perfect Minigame RNG: In games like Mario Party or Zelda, win every single minigame by manipulating chance-based mechanics with impossible precision, so it feels like you are literally controlling the game's soul. 7. Custom Ending Manipulation: Through some obscure RNG manipulation or glitch, the TAS could unlock bizarre, unintended endings or credit sequences, adding a unique twist to an otherwise predictable ending. The TAS would feel like it’s bending the rules of reality, making the impossible not just possible but inevitable!

I know you will probably teach this in the tutorial you are making, but how do you get the info thing on the left under the item UI? And how are people tricking off the sides of the road? Is that there because of how the CT creator implemented the wavy roads?
@G-Force74 күн бұрын
the way the wavy roads were implemented, it is just barely possible to hit the edges of some of them through the walls

basically, it's getting the rBC3 rap physics while still on the ground, this allows you to angle yourself sideways and build speed by alternating the control stick, you can't really drive freely like Wario Bike Supersliding though, so the solution is to get in the air again to stop the rBC3 ramp physics. It used to be used on rGV2 but supersliding obsoleted it. Video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sF6oiJ9ueNJmrdEsi=0tKtW_d3Tldxes-9

Why was Wario picked over Funky Kong?
@dm24834 күн бұрын
Wario was probably picked due to the extra drift and mini-turbo he has, similarly to the WGM 3lap TAS. There's enough turns where the 8 extra frames of mini-turbo and the tighter turn radius would make him faster (besides the shortcut probably being way harder with Funky Kong due to the extra speed and less drift)
@jalenstimes74524 күн бұрын
@@dm2483 I had no idea that Wario had an extra drift to his stats. I do not remember physically seeing an extra drift stat on his vehicles anywhere.
