I take her two serious words: "..impervious to reason...". It is sad, but the truth is that the whole world today, to its ideologies, is impervious to reason. But, even sadder, it is impervious to education and serious knowledge. The media reign the peoples' psychology. The lack of independent minds became a planetary epidemic. Israel's rights are the historic victim of this lack. BBC shows only the poor (indeed) babies victims of military actions, but do not extend the reasoning due to the Hamas' previous actions, the human shielding of its coward fanatics, its school-hospital-moscs missile depos or the everyday life in Gaza neighboring towns. What Israel is supposed to do? They must understand that the Jews stopped to be sitting ducks after the Holocaust. NOBODY else is!

Dozens of other peoples of different cultures and religions lived in the area before there was a substantial jewish population and after. The United Kingdom of Israel hasn't existed for over 3000 years and the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah haven't existed for around 2500 years when other races/cultures/peoples assimilated with the region's population. Almost a million people in the region were displaced by the creation of the modern state of Israel. I'm not arguing either way ideologically but what she is saying is very misleading.

Also, Muslims were not expelled, they were pushed by their leaders to leave the Palestine. But in contrary Jews were expelled from Muslim counties, and all their possessions left in these countries

the Arab occupation of the land of israel , is illegal , and was not constant, the jews expelling by the roman empire , was not legal also during the time of the otmans empire , that last for 400 years , the country was an empty desolate land ! the poeple who left at `48 where poeple who enterd the counrty in the mid 19th cen. and live there for only about 100 years, and they are NOT million, maby 100, 000 , thats all.
