Thank you so very much for your thorough explanation. It has been most helpful to a student out of college for 28 years.

Thanks for your helpful video. On the slide for web sources (9:17 into the video), my understanding is that there is a comma between the website name and the date published rather than a period. I use The Purdue OWL as my main MLA reference, and that's what it shows. Also, I see that in your example which follows, you did use a comma between the website and the date published. Another discrepancy I noticed is 10:33 into the video, and you've included n.d. which is no longer required if the web page doesn't provide a date published. I appreciate the time you put into making this!

Hi, and thanks for this video. One thing I noticed at around 10:40. You used "n.d." According to the "Ask the MLA" FAQ, if there's no date we now leave it blank: "Q. The work I’m citing doesn’t have a publication date or page numbers. Should I include the abbreviations n.d. ('no date') and n. pag. ('no pagination) in the works-cited-list entry? Answer No. Do not use placeholders for unknown information like n.d. (''no date') and n. pag. ('no pagination') unless your teacher asks you to do so. " [I know I should do a proper citation, but I'm not bothering.]

Thanks a lot, Madam! I clearly understand everything about MLA format now, and I am ready to master it in my academic papers.

Under the basics on the right side of the page, it writes: ''Use italics for titles''. 2 slides later, on Formatting the 1st Page, it writes: ''Paper tile... No Italcs''. So what is the correct guideline? Title in italics or no italics?

Your title is not italicized, but titles of sources are.

How come that ur citation added manually ? i see that you edit whatever u want just by clicking on cited works titles which we don't wanna create citations list this way but only by clicking on a bibliography
