I mean yes but that’s partly cause it was the maybe best offense in mlb history during the regular who they all had pegged to win the World Series with ease. The other part was Jeff Francoeur on the call who came up with the braves and had his 15 minutes of fame with them. Kimbrel almost blew that last game. Wild pitch, acuna hits a 400 footer luckily to the deepest part of the park, signs of trouble many of us saw but the manager didn’t or didn’t think any issues. But the amount of bad moves and non moves by Thompson in the nlcs was too many to overcome. The Phillies beat the dbacks in 6 outta 7 games but lost 4. Not a single lineup adjustment, Rojas in game 7 allowed to bat with bases loaded. Suarez, now in the 6th, did his job they got a 2-1 lead Carroll up with a runner at 2nd. Carroll already 2-2 off Suarez now a Risp, I’m hollering WTF ARE YOU DOING get him out now, put another lefty in. He pitches gives up the lead ,not his fault, toppers fault, then here comes topper walking up the steps. Series right there. But they could have won it in 5.-6 at most had he not put kimbrel in back to back nights the 2nd night after a bad night, in the 8th he puts him. On and on and on. Sickening watching your team play well most games and watch the manager defeat them. That team Carrie’s topper. I like the clubhouse since he’s been there, but seriously, this can’t be allowed to happen again. Blowing a 2-0 lead and blowing a lead late in game 7. Blowing game 4-5 5 is in him maybe even 4, after seeing kimbrel in tge yr and postseason. Sickening
