NOTE: This DOES still work as of Gameplay Update 7, however equipment is much more prone to being reset upon loading a RTTS save, especially after a fresh boot of the game. You may have to do this more than once for it to "stick" but I have just successfully performed it in the latest update myself. You also actually *do* still get the attribute bonus from the socks you equipped for this, it seems.

As o& September 2021 Has anyone noticed now no matter what sock you equip in a loadout, the player is always wearing team stance socks? But you’ll still get the attribute points +7 speed +7 stealing for the diamond level socks.

Greyson: I think the key is making sure you do the manual save like he shows you at the end of this video and then back out and re-load RTTS. After I did that it worked.

So I think I found a work around. Once you load a game in RTTS go to view stats. On your player click to view the player card. Close out and so far when I do this my player has his stance socks on in gameplay.

U can get the stance socks for free when ur in the majors at some point u will get a call from ur highschool coach and u will get them but don’t change the socks at all cuz u will lose them

Is anybody having the problem where they go through all these steps and it still doesn’t work? This video helped me out a little while back but now whenever I try to do this my socks won’t stay. When I go to appearance it has the team socks equipped but when the games load up it’s back to the generic branded socks. Anybody have any idea why that is ? It’s driving me crazy

It actually might be a visual glitch. Mine didnt work, but if you back out and go to my ballplayer again, your posed player will have them on, just not in the appearance subscreen

You can only have one ballplayer. You can change loadouts and appearance settings within that player but it will apply across all your RTTS saves.

If I turn off my Play-station and leave MLB the show will they stay on or will I have to put them on again?

It will stay like 99% of the time as long as you don't go into the loadout screen from the RTTS hub.

Yes. I originally thought you didn't but now that equipment stats are being applied I have compared before and after looking at my speed while on base, and they were the same.

There aren't any special compression sleeves as far as I know that aren't just mixed in as equipment like everything else.

Yeah I've had mutliple people tell me they haven't been able to get it to work. I've not played with it (started a new RTTS so I'm in AA again) but since the update changes dealt with equipment and loadouts I'm not surprised that something got changed that may cause it to not work anymore.

Seems to use a completely different system under the hood this year, going as far as re-showing equipped socks even when you set pant length to hide them as soon as you exit the equipment appearance menu. I'll play around once I get into the bigs in my save file but I don't have high hopes this year barring a patch.
