I would hang onto the Thornton until you get another dupe or bad sign and craft him. He will only end up around 130 overall and it isn't worth the GI especially since you have 3 already ahead of him.

First, GI Ryu, then Biggio. By the time you get a third GI, you'll either have another team sig or legend, or you'll get a dupe and then can craft Thornton away.

I wouldn’t worry about using prime GI. They in all reality are pretty cheap. I would personally use a prime GI on Delgado over Vlady but that’s just me

Usually com2 will have an anniversary event around October or November. For the anniversary event they will usually do a donation event where you can donate player cards like signatures and legends in exchange for items like a legend pack, team sig pack, and even historic player packs.
