zRemyz I was 12 years old play 50’ 70’ ( now I play 60’ 90’ ) but pitch was WAY outside on a lefty and caught it did a 360 bc of my momentum and threw it and got the kid out! No lie no a joke!

The First catcher throwing from his knees was Benito Santiago of San Diego Padres, he was Rookie of the Year in 1987 and he was the first catcher that invent that technique. He is Puerto 🇵🇷Rican

Just goes to show you strong catchers arms really are. I mean think about it, sometimes they have to rocket a ball from their knees to second base to beat the runner with pinpoint accuracy. Always impressive to watch.
