I think the thing that upsets me the most is how empty most of these parks are. I'm a huge baseball fan (Phillies fan for life) and I don't like seeing how empty these parks are. Why don't people go to baseball games anymore? If I lived close enough and had the money, I'd go to every game.

ZG Brickfilms the phillies stadium is actually pretty full for having a bad team. The fans here are passionate especially about the phillies so the fact that the phils haven't been good the last couple years and still having "ok" attendance is good.

Conner Swanson It's not because I said so. It's because of the way they play. It seems you have no reasoning behind your hate. It's just I hate the royals. Is that because you are a mets fan, a fan of another team in the al central, a yanks or Red Sox fan, a Houston or Oakland? Or are you just hating to hate is all I'm saying. I don't hate other teams just because. I hate them because they have a player or have done things in the past that makes me hate them. And I can't find anything kc has ever done that would make people hate them.

Oh ya since you are a Giants fan I'm guessing it was in cali where there are more idiots than a school for mentality handicapped children. Also I could care less if Kansas City are contenders or not because it's not life or death for me. If they win the world series awesome. If it takes another 30 years to do it, it makes it that much better. And you guys also totally stomped us really. Game seven 90 feet away and then you get the third out. No doubt in both of our minds kc would've won that game had it gone to extra innings. For one it was in Kc where kc had one of the best home records in the league in 2014, second kc had a much deeper bullpen, and third once the crowd gets into the game you can pretty much chalk it up as a win for the home team. Especially when you have a great bullpen like Kansas city had. Also the only reason the Giants can stay contenders is because there is no salary cap. But now there are rules being made for teams that cheat the system and have outrageous payrolls so you can say goodbye to just buying everyone. And one last thing if you don't believe California has very stupid people go watch Mark Dice and find out for yourself.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know how on earth teams like the Reds, Dimondbacks, Brewers, Philles ect are still teams. Not that i hate them but i always see there games mostly empty.

nahpoli to speak for the Reds, no one attends for a few reasons, we've sucked for so damn long people have lost faith, weather is always terrible and unpredictable in cincy, and people stopped caring about baseball. But opening day is a holiday for Cincinnati, lots of schools and people are off work, we had a record number of attendance this year on opening day at 44,000

In Chicago it's like 30-40 degrees once it's warm the white sox usually draw like 30,000 but it sucks to see a baseball game when it's cold and people have to work and go to school
