One thing ive said for years is the Mets lineup stalls out the second you put Nimmo in the leadoff spot. Hes not fast, doesnt steal bases and that just clogs up the top of the lineup. If you have a lead off guy get on first one ground ball and the inning is basically over. Now if you have a lead off hitter on first and he steals 2b now a hit drives in a run instead of first and third like we usually get with NImmo. This is why this lineup has played much better with him hitting 2nd.
