I was thinking the same thing, but I don't think he's eligible for the playoffs because he's not on the 40-man roster.

@@DetroitStarsA player who doesn't meet said criteria for postseason eligibility can still be added to a team's roster in the postseason via petition to the Commissioner's Office if the player was in the organization on Aug. 31 and is replacing someone who is on the injured list and has served the minimum amount of time required for activation. - MLB Rulebook. Basically because the tigers have Sawyer Gipson-Long on the IL all season they could replace him with Jobe.

Wouldn't it be crazy to see a reprise of a Tiger/Padres matchup, in the World Series? Actually,I wouldn't mind a Diamondback repeat. 💫⚾⚾⚾

Well... you're wrong on the Mariners. With their loss, they're effectively 3 gb with 6 to play. They've got to finish above Detroit and/or the Royals. Going to come down to the Central Division teams.

If you watched the Tigers take 2 of 3 from the Royals last week, then you didn't watch close enough. Also, I completely disagree, I don't care if stars win or not. I like underdog teams. Last year's world series was awesome! I don't care if I ever see the Yankees in the series again.
