Cuz it's best to stay back and not apologize because the batter may be mad after they get hit and they might hit the picture

A lot of them have elbow guards and that's where the ball is hitting on most of these, a bunch of them are just getting clipped by it too or being hit in areas with a lot of muscle to protect them like their back, thighs, or buttox. Some of these though, yeah, they take direct hits and walk it off. I've been hit by an 85-mph fastball or so my coach claimed it was 85mph, when I was standing behind the catcher and he decided to pitch as hard as he could to show off to me and my teammates. It went between the catcher's legs and nailed me in the side of the leg just above my ankle. It hurt like hell for a few minutes, but I just kept taking deep breaths and then ran it off and finished up practice. The pain came back with a vengeance though later that night after I got off my foot and it started swelling though. lmao Edit: In High School I saw a kid on the opposing team take a pitch and the ball actually lodged between his ribs. He pulled it out, tossed it down, and took his base. I still to this day have no idea what that kid was made of.
