@@RobbieStacks90 Betts is playing great this postseason compared to Freeman. They want to go to Freeman because it's impossible for him for a single because he is hobbled. They hope that he won't get a home run and according to stats, him getting a homerun is about 5%.
@RobbieStacks90Ай бұрын
@@kingdinodragonite3470 Freeman is a far better contact hitter with better plate discipline. There'd be a 1% chance of his legging out an infield single, even if he weren't hobbled. That was a horrible decision by Aaron Boone. Betts is known to choke in the big moments and strike out or make weak contact.

I bought a ticket in the morning a few hours before the game. It was the first World Series game I've ever attended. Possibly one of the best decisions of my life. I've been a Dodgers fan since I was 9 years old. All I have ever wanted was to see a Yankees vs Dodgers World Series. The last time they matched up was the year my dad graduated high school. There was no way I was going to miss this game. It was such an incredible memory to be at the stadium. As soon as it went off the bat we all knew it was gone. The place erupted...The energy was so electric. Beer was flying everywhere. It was an instant classic. Go Dodgers!!! 2024 World Series Champions!!!

That "she is gooooooonnne" is so perfectly the same as the call from gibsons walk off homerun in 88. I wonder is joe davis did that intentionally or if it just came out or what but it was a spitting image of vin scully's call. Instant goosebumps. Instant tears

Two weeks later and I still can’t stop watching this. I was at the game. I blacked out for a moment from the elation. I’ve witnessed other great moments. Juan Uribe’s go-ahead homerun in the 2013 NLDS against the Braves after he couldn’t get the bunt down. Manny Ramirez’s 1st-pitch pinch-hit Grand Slam on his bobblehead night. Needless to say this tops them all. Let’s run it back! GO DODGERS!!!

I read a story earlier today on who the MLB picked to umpire this series, and they said 3 or 4 of the umpires missed calls for the season were in the bottom percentile for all umpires this year! The writer was astonished that umpires that bad actually were allowed to call this series.
