BACK in the UK. Was a prominent sport well over a century ago. Football's Derby County played on The Baseball Ground which had been used for their baseball club from 1890. Also look up which nation won the inaugural IBAF World Baseball Cup in 1938..

Some football, sorry soccer, matches can be great even if they are 1-0. However as a football / soccer fan who was there for this game, it was excellent. The London Stadium is an awful Stadium for footy but excellent as a ballpark. Good to see so many Americans over for the game, great atmosphere.

A soccer game is also an hour and half. That 2019 London series games lasted like 5 hours there were people literally walking out of the stadium after the 5th inning. It was not a good look for baseball

I was at the game, missed like 4 innings because of queuing for food/drinks, the stadium does NOT have the facilities for this many people. I’d definitely recommend going but I wouldn’t wait for merch and I would eat before I go

Last year dollar dog night at CBP….I waited 4 innings for a cheesesteak. Pretty sure it was the night Harper ran up the 3rd baseline and yelled at Angel Hernandez. Thank god they got rid of dollar dog night. Worst CBP experience I’ve had.

It's always a choice between do you think you can get there in time or will it be close. If it's close and you miss and let it go past that's an easy triple at that point. I do think some of the fielders can be a bit lazy on going for stuff sometimes though. I think it was a lot further from him than it looked though 10ft or more

​We don't care much about baseball other than the weekend when MLB travels here. Most of the spectators travel from the US, others, Americans who live in the UK, there are few more thousands who travel from the EU and the rest are British who just go there for some American experience. I personally have attended the three series which are held in London.
