The fact that the Mariners set up their rotation so that their top three starting pitchers started in each game of this series was such a smart move and now we have completed a sweep against a team chasing us in the division to help increase our lead in the division.

The difference between winning 2 of 3 and getting the sweep in this series was huge. Almost at the half way point in games and we're up 8.5 games in the division. Hopefully we just keep it rolling and force Texas and Houston into being sellers at the deadline.

Logan Gilbert finally realized that for him to get a "W" with this offense he needed to dominate - a great performance. Glad to see the sweep of their closest division opponent. M's offense continues to struggle - only 6 hits for the day, another 12 K's and 2 of their runs come off wild pitches; they need to score some runs against Cleveland. Go M's!

and suddenly that "costly loss" against the white sox turned out to be a massive W. Rest Castillo and reset the rotation, and we come out of it with a SWEEP against division rivals. TBH I expected to finish this homestand 6-1 anyways, figuring a sweep vs the White Sox and 2-1 vs the Rangers, but this outcome is even better. Now we just gotta keep it up. 9-game road trip against the Guardians, Marlins, and Rays anything less than 5-4 is a failure, cuz we should be beating the teams worse than us, and the Rays and Marlins are at the bottom of their division. If we really wanna cement that we're where we belong then 6-3 winning all 3 series should be the bare minimum goal.

i mean, to get to full count is 5, you figure EIGHT fouls, theres 13. and the 14th went for a fly-out to CF to end the inning. Not TOO much going on. If it was a 14p AB that ended in a HR then they either woulda showed more, or done a separate video later.
