It doesn’t seem as fast when you’re actually up to bat because there was a 9th grader that I was playing that was throwing 90 mph but he was barely throwing it because he isn’t allowed to throw hard because he could hurt someone but I was in 7th grade and I was terrified but when I got up to bat against him it wasn’t that fast

This view is what baseball needs, this is awesome. If this becomes becomes a thing, the camera should be adjusted to have less of a fisheye effect. Making the image flatter let’s us see the ball better from the pitcher and off the bat.

I always said that when ESPN Sunday nights moved the camera angle behind the pitcher it improved the telecast. You can see the pitches properly. However. A camera behind the catcher similar to a video game would improve it even more. The same old in broadcasting MLB games is a shame to the game
