It's time to make baseball a global sport such as soccer or rugby!! Cheers to our Czech brothers from MEXICO 🇲🇽⚾💪
I was at the Tokyo dome game - that Satoria strikeout from Ohtani was a great moment. Considering they were a semi-pro team; with traders, teachers, all playing for the national team - the level was insanely high. I think they surpass the Netherlands easily

It was a great video. When I saw Czech players in Tokyo, I was impressed by their personalities, sincerity, and power. I hope that Czech baseball will develop.

I love how the rest of the world cheers and celebrates baseball. Here everything is regarded as tradition and unwritten rules. It's time to move on past that antiquated thinking and make the games fun.

Is there any chance that baseball will become popular in the Czech Republic?
@vojtechnovacek7776 Жыл бұрын
@@마라탕-k9c Us Czechs get easily inversted in a sport if our nation does well and when the sport gets enough coverage/exposure. For example this happened a decade back with biathlon which led to many kids picking up the sport and that meant that we became on of the best countries at biathlon. I can see that happening with baseball but there are some issues. Mainly the rules are harder to explain/teach yourself by watching baseball (you can compare it to the simplicity of said biathlon, which is ski, shoot 5 targets, ski again). Also it is highely unlikely world-class competition would happen here, which would help boosting the grow of baseball here massively. And last opportunity would be a Czech player getting to MLB (or at least drafted). There were some good candidates in this years' draft but none of them were picked.

Learning their backstories and watching their accomplishments during WBC absolutely captured everyone's hearts, I'm sure. Everyone loves an underdog story, and there's none better than theirs. Thank you and keep it up! We're all rooting for you! Signed, Japanese but raised in America (I think I can speak on behalf of both Japan and America- if you heard their story, it was hard not to root for them. Love to hear of their recent progress)
I am Japanese. I watched your games on KZbin and was very impressed. Sometimes I am surprised that baseball has a relatively small number of players worldwide when I am in Japan. This is because baseball is a familiar sport here. I think it must be difficult for many people to play a sport that is not well known, even though it is enjoyable. However, your baseball was very cool. The true enjoyment of baseball, the beautiful play of acknowledging and competing with each other with all your might, was like a gem. I hope to see your wonderful play in Japan again. I believe that the god of baseball will make it happen.

Since the WBC the czechs have finished: * 3rd in the U15 European championship * 10th in the U12 world cup * 6th in the U23 European championship * 9th in the U18 world cup, including a 7-0 win over Venezuela! * Beat Italy & Netherlands in a few friendly exibitions And people still think the WBC is meaningless??? Look at the impact!!!

As European, I believe the new rules will help a lot with the baseball popularity here, because we don't like watching something 3-3:30 hours with tones of ads.

Hi from Tokyo! Samurai Japan manager Hideki Kuriyama brought Lars Nootbaar in as the first player born outside of Japan. He explained the reason as follows: “The world is becoming global. It's very meaningful for people who play baseball from different places to come together so that everyone can join hands and get along. In this day and age, wars still occur. I believe sports can transcend borders. If you play baseball with people from other countries, you won't think of going to war with their countries.” After WBC, Team Czech’s manager Pavel Chadim also said “Although Ukraine and Russia are at war, I want to tell people that there is a wonderful world like this.” In July, NPB Chiba Lotte Marines invited Czech players and Mr. Chadim. Mr. Kuriyama visited Czech in September. Samurai Japan is to host Team All Euro for Global Baseball Games in next March. I’m proud that we have built a good relationship and kept trying to spread baseball worldwide. This is the true meaning of international sports events.
