You got that one correct! With all he has accomplished with the Angels, records broken, MVP more than once, etc, it's been wonderful getting to see him not only tonight but for the last several weeks of the season, trying to stay ahead of the Padres, creating the 50/50 club and more. His emotional reactions are like little league kids as they improve, trying to make the playoffs. He's never had a chance that late in the season to feel pressured to win until this year and we see what he did and continues to do when it counts. My favorite so far shows how much of a team player he is and loves to be part of the Dodgers. Home run #50 - He already had the 50 SBs so this was a player moment rather than a team but he took one step towards first base, turned to his dugout and screamed like a 5 year old who won free ice cream for the next year!! This was a perfect fit bringing him to LA and the only thing we need to tie up to keep this team deadly is a 3 to 4 year extension for Teoscar!
@paulbrownman73073 ай бұрын
I wouldn't pitch him ever again. Just have him DH or play some first base.in the future. His offense is too valuable for him to be out several weeks with a pitching injury that may occur in the future, because you the dodgers luck with pitchers

I'll never forget just how many people were saying Ohtani wasn't worth what the Dodgers paid. And now he's having a historic season and likely to win the MVP as a DH.

This would’ve been a loss last year. Now you know why Ohtani wears Dodger blue

Been watching the Dodgers for many years, and been through many disappointing playoffs runs from them, but this team feels different. Padres are red-hot and being the best team in the MLB after all-star break, and even got an early lead over the Dodgers in the 1st inning. But the Dodgers didn’t panic, for once ROBERTS didn’t panic and overmanage. They kept their cool and punched back. This isn’t the flashy Dodgers team from 2017, or even the complete team from 2020. This Dodgers team can fight back and stay cool under pressure. Can’t wait to see how far they go

Yes this is the playoffs and this is the second round already. Padres are really good and Dodgers have Ohtani so they're unstoppable. 😂 #GoDodgers

the Dodgers entered today 0-14 in their postseason history after trailing by 3+ runs thru the first inning BUT THEY DIDN’T HAVE SHOHEI OHTANI THOSE FIRST 14 TIMES…NOW THEY DO😀

Yeah and throwing the ball into the dugout in the 5th instead of making a routine out at 1st. Idiot too focused on looking cool n casual chewing his bubble gum

Was it really though? He already hit a 2 RBI homerun that game. Perhaps Cease or the bullpen could have gave up less runs
@craigwheeler47603 ай бұрын
Manny did his job. He drove in 2 runs. SO did Ohtani. Ohtani drove in 3. That's not choking. If Manny was 0-5 with 4K's and stuff, that would be choking.
