The Cognizant Major League Cricket 2024 season commenced on Friday as MI New York began their title defence with a commanding six-wicket win over Seattle Orcas.
All eyes were on Nicholas Pooran at Church Street Park in Morrisville as the West Indian wicketkeeper-batter continued his form from the 2023 edition. His unbeaten 62 off just 37 balls helped MI New York chase down the total of 109 runs in just 14.2 overs.

MAJOR LEAGUE CRICKET PRESIDENT & CHAIRMAN, as a well wisher i'm telling u, AS i've talked & taken alot of opinions from American ,Do take MY SUGGESTION seriously, IF YOU'LL want to make MLC one of the top & best LEAGUE in the USA , then from 2024 season MLC should not have to look like IPL ( right now it is looking to all americans as a ipl teams are just randomly playing some ipl & big bash matches in USA, MAKE MLC HOW AMERICANS WANTS IT ( FOR AMERICAN MLC SHOULD LOOK LIKE AS This Sports is all American & also belong to all American, take out Lot of things & learn & just copy paste from NFL, MLS, NBA, NHL, MLB that all American irrespective of their gender & age should FALL IN LOVE WITH CRICKET FRANCHISE) make MLC more just like how Americans like it, look from 2024 mlc season onwards atleast take 3 to 4 local USA BASED Players in each MLC franchise SO due to which buzz automatically will start to create among Americans & promotion of the MLC & as well as for CRICKET will happen among the local Americans, MLC & USA CRICKET BOARD do not just directly start playing cricket in America without educating the rules to locals Americans( that everything shouldn't go over the head of Americans , that locals Americans doesn't have any knowledge what exactly is going on the field ) USA CRICKET BOARD & MLC Chairman & president start some programmes to explain the rules of T20 MLC & Cricket in General so that local Americans should have a better understanding of MLC & upcoming 2024 T20 World cup , CRICKET in General irrespective of different formats in Cricket & train some local American English Speaking Person for Commentery for atleast half of the MLC games for 2024 Season onwards, I hope Mr CHAIRMAN & PRESIDENT OF MLC & USA CRICKET BOARD WILL Take my Point Into Consideration & you'll will take specific & Necessary Steps for 2024 MLC & for all seasons after that.
