Tbh its more like a love-item for melee atk spd heroes that usually struggle trying to chase an enemy thats kiting them, so the extra mov spd and range does help them catch up to them more easily, specifically argus, freya and others. For marksmen, its not that big of a deal as they’re alrdy ranged and dont usually struggle hitting enemies unless its for specific purpose like repositioning and whatnot

Claude is definitely nice with this. Even if it doesn't extend ultimate range, it makes him rather scary when poking tanks from safer distance. That lifesteal is also nice, since dhs+won doesn't give enough against blade armor+dominance combo.

I play Aulus a lot, and Malefic Gun has benefited me the "fun" i'm having for a while. This is incredibly flexible as i am able to mix up builds with this new item.

Some of them can be safe from the distance in teamfights for now but... Sneaky and cunning Assassin Heroes is still the biggest risk despite having a longer range with Layla's Malefic Gun item so be more careful where you are going to position for teamfights and make sure that the Assassin is far away from them or make them dead first so you and your team can safely clean them with no problems.

You’re wrong about kimmy, while most of her damage comes from skill 1 - it’s 1) not a huge dps increase on single targets and 2) runs out quick. You need to kite with basic attacks to recharge her energy because her dash has a 15 second cooldown and hr ultimate doesn’t recharge energy

As long as you attack and you like build windtalker then it's a nice sub to boots at that point on late game assuming you can properly reposition and attack.

My opinions: 1. Moonton needs to define Wanwan’s passive marks as its own kind of damage. If this pursues, Wanwan will be broken with Malefic Gun. 2. They need to make it activate when a skill hits an enemy hero. If this can be activated when landing a skill, it’s either a waste or an item that empowers your push speed.

I still think Malefic Gun improves WanWan the least. Both Unique Passives does not 100% benefit WanWan. Zeal is obvious. Malefic Energy is only partially effective because keeping at maximum range is NOT always an advantage when the intent is to hit all weaknesses as quickly as possible. The mm that benefits Malefic Gun the most is Irithel, Karrie, and Layla. I hope WanWan users don't misunderstand this video to their detriment.
