Yup his new passive basically can help with jungle clear with your core if you play him as tank faster. It's what I like about akai in exchange of course for his range of setting potential, they kinda hard nerfed it where setting in the enemy base is quite difficult especially when enemies have cc. Though he can also work as a core since his passive again deals alot of dmg now after the revamp.

Nah bro, you need that slot for defense items, you are no grock or khufra to be having extra def from passive. That speed in jungling is irrelevant you rely on the jungle true damage especially late game lord.

We've been doing jungle akai ever since the meta changed it is a very feasible core. High damage and sustain just like jungle baxia,hylos and etc. With proper rotation you can win the match. We have atleast 80% wr with jungle akai. Just make sure you have a late game gold lane and burst mage to have damage in the late game.

In this META, it maybe possible for a tanks to take retribution and be a jungler but no one is confident of taking retribution. So far, it doesn't seem to be just Akai, pretty much almost all tanks in general. I haven't tried tank jungler yet so I don't know too much about it.

I recently played Akai core since nobody picked any good junglers and I had to change Spells last second... At the first half i dominated the farm.. able to stole little wanderer from the enemy and eliminate him as well... Did an incredible set at marksman lane... My build was one attack (war axe) and the rest are tank since as the game went on, enemy line gets stronger... It was a hard game but we still won. I don't recommend playing akai as core but if you have a strong late game line up then go for it Akai core 9/10 early... 7/10 late game

I've been playing Akai core in mirror, so I was able to read his skills to maximize his damage his passive, the second skill, and his ultimate scale with HP iirc so it would be better to buy high HP items like cursed helmet or guardian helmet then maybe use other tanky items depending on the enemy

Nah. Two tank set up works, specifically if the mid is scaling. For example, Pharsa and Lunox.

Its not the only scenario tho, there's a lot of hybrid tanks out there and almost half of them can be an effective damager like Baxia, Hylos, Gatot, so it still depends on the line up of the team. If the team has an adc that really needs babysitting like Layla of course I will choose two tank set up instead since Layla have no disengaging skill at all but if the team has like Wanwan I will instead choose something more aggressive like roamer Natalia.

Yes tank cores are the current meta but if it comes to late game you need some backup damage from your teams beacause some tanks can't do damage that can kill an enemy in late game

You can use any tank as jungler as long as it has demon slayer and damage to monster stats maxed out. Even I use chou as jungler and also tank build. But its downside is you need to have a late game hero because some players can counter this emblem because of its lack of damage to heroes

if u play with cursed helmet, guardian, twilight and thunderbelt, akai has a lot of damage. it can pretty much one shot any squishy heroes with s1 AA s2 AA. And Akai's jungle clear is top notch, it is nearly as fast as hylos. Akai jg is at the same level as baxia jg in my opinion.

Players just don't get that tank jungler's are objective oriented plays. That's why they hate the idea of having tank junglers. The purpose of tank meta is to use a tank jungler and have 2 or 3 dps heroes for other lanes so as to not lack damage tokill counterpart lane take objectives repeat.

So funny story me and my friends 5 man and all of us tanked One gatot, Im using esme, my friend khuf, then js core btw not js mage just tank cause we said no attack or magic items pure tank items, then my friend used uranus they had an atlas and we were winning they had no more towers so we were just chilling at their base they set us multiple times but no damage then all of us used blade armour and anti quiras there wanwan was just shooting marshmallows such a fun game 😂🤣😂🤣

Just tried jungle Grock got savage. Just use Grock if the enemy composition is full of physical dmg. It takes a lot of courage to use jungle tank many players still don't accept tanks in the jungle. Btw our lance is our roam dire hit.

Try double jungle using akin and baxia. Akai will take loot for the jungle of enemy while baxia will loot in their area. 1 mage, 1 mm and 1 xp laner will defend their tower.. This will make the game crazy
