I have reviewed the mevo+ a while ago but not recently. Being a radar unit the skytrak+ still has a lot of advantages for indoor use.

Great video! I have the MLM2PRO and awesome golf but I am plagued with connection issues while trying to play a round I can’t even get through 3 holes. Do you have any tips for a better connection?

Use your home network and if that still isn’t good enough use the direct wifi and keep your phone or tablet close to the unit

What we need is a combination of the two units. The swing vision and impact vision are great to have that the sky trak doesn't. With enough reviews from people using the mlm it's pretty much the best unit for 1000 bucks. Not sure the skytrak is worth 4 times the mlm. Thanks for the video.

The skytrak offers quite a lot more data and being a camera based unit has massive advantages. It’s still the cheapest camera based unit on the market. I think the next closest is like $7.5k or maybe even more

Nice review David ,surprised ML2pro range is so basic nice clouds and bit of grass where are the greens and flags ? Two good units and getting better with updates . Interested in upcoming Protee overhead units Vx coming out very soon . Albeit more expensive than these two units cheaper than uneekor alternative ,no subscription and Gspro compatible,hope it will be accurate and reliable.

Overhead units are great but very limiting. Also a lot harder to install. However if that’s all you are doing then they’re fantastic

Hi david.. great video as usual. had my mlm2 pro amonth or so, and still figuring it out. Is this the old range on the old furmware? And how do you get the 10 metrics up? Im running samsung ultra or s7 max tablet. Also after the new firmware the practice range has changed now, and it seems the only range availible is the actual simulation range. This is great, but no insights are available it seems.. they seem to have given with one hand and taken with another. The new alighnment system seems to be the only benefit.. plus the speed system i guess.. be interested to hear your thoughts.. Regards lee

Hey mate, with android it’s hard for me to comment as I’ve never used it but that could be the issue. I use an iPad and that work’s seamlessly with all of the data points etc 😁

My biggest worry about the Skytrak is outdoor use. Seems like a lot of folks have had issues. Maybe I'll have to get both 😅 Need a strategy to get my wife on board...

The Skytrak+ is really tempting, just dont know if I want to splash that much cash. If I cant get my R10 to the accuracy level I need then I may upgrade to the MLM2Pro. One thing I have heard is that it can struggle with short chips. The few short chips in this video seemed fine. Have you had any issues with the chipping?

Not really any issues at all with the chipping to be honest. There’s definitely none with the skytrak +

Today I decided to dump the MLM2Pro for a Skytrack+ because of the horrible connection and dropped connection issues Rapsodo cannot seem to fix. My main goal for these units is a sim to be able to play sim golf during the winter. So far, I cannot get through 6 holes on Awesome Golf or E6 Connect without getting kicked out and losing the entire round. I am not terribly concerned with yard-to-yard accuracy, ideally it should be generally close but if it's off 3 to 5 yards that should be just fine. Ya the skytrack+ is 4x the price. I hope it works 4x better than the MLM2Pro.

Would you pick r10 or mlm currently. I like the fact r10 shows angle of attack of the club but I think there's physical things I can use in training to make sure im.hitting up or down. I like the accuracy of mlm. Then I go back to I like the cheaper option of r10. Lol. If you had to choose between the 2 currently. Will use awesome golf with either btw

Skytrak+ is best for those who have the budget for it. R10 is best for those who don’t. Nobody needs the MLM.

Disagree. If you want to bridge the gap in accuracy between the R10 and a higher end unit then the MLM2Pro seems to be the way to go. R10 is great (I have one), but the spin axis issues really bring down the accuracy value.

I’ve seen a dozen comparison videos with r10 and mlm2 now. mlm2 won each one hands down. Compared with GC3/4 mlm2 was within 1-2% while r10 was off 10+% at times, even with rct balls. R10 is obsolete now
