I think that this format is fine, it definitely cuts down on the filler. However, I think that you could provide more value to your viewers by trying to do more visuals. I think that with some visuals you could "show" what it is that you are spending a lot of time saying. I think investing in some more visuals will take these videos to the next step. I think watching you talk is great, but I think that when you talk too long without anything new visually being presented to add onto the story, I tend to skip to the next part of the video.
