For those wondering what happened with the cameras, in the second half the lights in the stadium went out, then back on, then out again, then back on. In the broadcast you could hear the crowd reacting and commentators mentioning it. The video boards went out and had to be rebooted. Needless to say, it also affected the cameras - all they had was the handheld sideline camera after that, then at the very end the main camera came back online.

I'm a Sounders fan... but that first penalty looked really soft to me. I'm surprised it was called for review by the VAR. Overturning the second one was the right call. I don't know about the third one. This camera angle sucks so bad, it's hard to tell.

It's an IFAB pilot protocol. FIFA wants fans in the stadium to understand what VAR reviews are for, since they don't have replays and commentators. It's been used in several international tournaments including the WWC, and I expect it will be used elsewhere soon.
