@@maxsmlwchannel no way Cheetam is worth that much. If you look at last years draft, the 1st and 3rd picks were Grant Miller and RJ Walgate. If Kyle keeps these picks(which I imagine he will) and nails them, he could start a legit dynasty. Also good on Kyle to somehow get these picks, good management on his part.

if you haven't already, as a logo/uniform buff, I think a cool pod topic would be the history of the team names/colors/logos and how they came to be and why some teams have repurposed logos and some have seemingly original ones. And maybe even go into the cutting room floor and reveal what names/colors got rejected. Also both of you could pick one team to rebrand in any way. Great job on the league and pod guys!

If I were a GM in this league, I would constantly be looking to acquire top half draft picks even if I had to 'overpay' for them. I think there has been a consistent trend of the draft talent becoming better and better as the league continues to grow. And we saw what kind of impact having multiple top picks can have this past season when the Magic got Walgate and Miller. Unless I was GM of the Predators, in which case I'd just light all my picks on fire.

I see the Mallards and Tommy getting Pyszka (pleasing Tommy), but Pyszkas attendance has been an issue, I have concern there as a D-Back fan. Tommy also gets an elite young player like Trey who has shown his talent on the mound. If Tommy drafts well with that pick, it could work as he is agreeing to swap picks. I dont see Tommy dealing off Robles as he is a top MVP candidate, although age could play a factor in how long Robles plays for. If Tommy accepts, he is planning for the future. Call me nuts, but Tommy accepts. Jimmy is obviously a big fan of Pyszka and all his players. He has the NL ASG starting pitcher, and dealing both those away for a worse pick and someone who may not stay in the league much longer is not something Jimmy would risk. Robles has shown a lot of deadication to MLW, and if the D-Backs want to win again, they’d risk the future for the present by accepting. Jimmy has a lot of respect and trust for his players, so Jimmy declines. I doubt Kyle would approve because he has shown hesitation in the past to trade the face of a franchise, to another team. If Kyle agrees, then the Mallards are losing their X-Factor (Even though I think Tommy would be okay with that. Pyszka and Flood wouldn’t like this because all the D-Backs players in such a great group, that none of them want to mess up. I also dont think that Robles would want to leave the Mallards. He seems committed to winning a title for them!

I think Kyle and Dan are in it for the long run 😂. This is Kyle’s job I believe someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is what Kyle does for a living. That being said, they probably aren’t going anywhere soon hopefully but I like the idea of the Schultz brother reunion.

While I think it was a good concept, the Predators wouldn’t do that. 2 picks for Cheetam, who hasn’t been the best on the bump or at the plate is something kracht and warda wouldn’t do. I don’t think Kyle and the Wildcats wouldn’t do this trade either because I still think JP and Kyle are both better arms than Baran(maybe a hot take) but all Baran does is throw drop balls and hitters have grown used to it. Kyle mixes up his pitches and JP is possible the Cats #1 arm next season. He also wouldn’t give up that much(#3 pick, saylor, smith) for that little of an upgrade if you can even call it that in Baran and 2 picks contingent on how well the Preds do. Team that benefits the most out of this is definitely the Cobras because they get Jorgy(who is my vote for sneaky MVP next season) and only slide down one spot in the draft order and give up Baran. Great trade for the Cobras if this were to go through.
