Solo hiking/Camping?

Exactly! Well said. Needs lots of planning and safety training. Watching someone hike the PCT on KZbin is very different than doing it alone! A small injury could mean life and death in the true wildness.

These kind of people are just selfish to the full, inconsiderate how many can risk their life to save her little mind and not well-educated of narrow way of being "alone". Alone can be many ways without others to bear these people's risk. Under education, sadly in HK still.

@@ginnytsang3035 have you even read their comment before making your narrow minded judgement? They were literally talking about how HK is considered way safer for solo camping compared to other countries.
As a camper, myself, I can entirely understand and appreciate the tranquillity and benefits you gain from spending nights alone in nature. By the way, I'm in Canada too. Hopefully see you camping one day. Keep it up!

@@MrMilanoLau I have seen smaller bears (like cubs), deers, raccoons and hidenas in the woods. They usually come around the camp site at night (except for bears, they come at any time of the day). They only want food. They aren't harmful unless you are.
wow deeply impressed and respect on many fronts. Not just the braveary but more so the mentality and what you learnt during your journey. Full Respect!!!

I m retired n live in Vancouver. Watch this video recapped my experience when I at your age. I went solo travel by myself to China( 1983). This gave me to experience to deal with things a d read myself. There is no GPS, not much info in those cities at that time. I appreciate this lady's self-healing process. God bless you and readers of MM
