@@mike-jp1lt I am afraid I cannot agree with you. Photography is art but not science. A sharp, perfectly exposed picture with accurate color doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good picture. They may be the essential elements for commercial product shooting but not for photography as a whole. It’s the difference between Art and Science. 玩味 (I.e. uncertainty, imperfection ) sometimes can be an element of photography. I am lucky enough to live in an era in which digital photography was not the main stream. Before digital era , there were lots of things to be missed. Like 120, 135 negative , positive , E to C and these are all the things you can play with Holga. They are simply different. An analogy would be apple and orange are both fruit (photograph ) but they are just different. One more thing, when every shuttle costs you money (the cost of buying film, printing or scanning) , you will treasure every shuttle you press. Just sharing and no offence. Cheers.
