You don't have to just commit normal crime. In the mafia occupation, there's a crime option where you can do extortion to contribute to the mafia. Extortion usually brings in more money. High risk as well. Tip for the next episode.

Yeah when you're a made man in the mafia, you don't do petty crime like pickpocketing and burglary. You have to do smarter crimes than that.

you make more from selling cars, you can get up to 500k from cars and u can only get 25k from extortions (max)

When I get mafias I usually just steal cars for standing (exit and close out of the game then reenter to get more cars to steal) then if I don't have notoriety I either whack or shake down via extortion.

Simon usually if mafia want to hang out they are rats, if you kill using extortions you get notoriety like crazy. Also to help with the vids there is a glitch to retry things, if you don't like a scenario just exit the app (doesn't work for death or gambling) very useful if you are about to get whacked by a random event

Simon, you need to try this again. Try and get a petty prison sentence before you are 18 and escape juvie. Do other petty crimes and join a mafia. Once you become an associate, steal 5 cars every year and contribute to the family. Also extort people for £25,000 and if they refuse, scare them or shake them down. Do NOT try and kill the godfather to become the godfather, you simply have to wait until they die. When you are an underboss and the godfather/mother dies, you are guaranteed to become the godfather. After that, you will make around 2 - 5 mil every year. Edit: oh and if you wait until midnight in real life, you can rob a train at midnight once. It gives you around £25,000,000
