There is a lot of thai clinch work that can really stop being owned against the fence or in the open. The THAI clinch is a martial art all by itself. Learning bicep control, knee bumps, doorstops, and etc. It is an understanding of leverage. Maybe I should make a video, you inspire me with yours.

At 3:17 had me dying I kept replaying the noise Bryan made and the look on his face. To be fair to him like he said he's not going full strength but it's still hilarious

Sometimes, the guy will post against the cage with his overhook arm and use the momentum to pin you against the cage with his underhook. Johny Hendricks did it to GSP. That's why turning them the other way is the first option, because they can't post on the cage due to their underhook. A more realistic sequence would be to do the move you showed and expect them to post, and use that to escape the clinch altogether, which is easy because they have just relinquished their overhook.

The turn should happen before the opponent can post on the cage.

All thai sweeps also lead you into side control more often than not. Also, back takes due to the fight for bicep control. The over unders can get you some nasty trips and turn them into leg attacks(takedowns) and even double overs can get you some nasty sweeps. Man, the THAI clinch even up against the cage you can get some nasty reversals....

Khabib Nurmagomedov told Putin in the meeting he was invited to: “I gave Dustin my neck to tire him out“. That’s the kind of mentality that has kept him undefeated so far. The full interview is out now with english subtitle.

Richard Dukard full of shit? Tell me again, didn’t Khabib keep his words true in the build ups to all of his fights? “Make him tired, make him give up“, watch the Khabib vs Conor build up in the interview, he said he’ll slap him while talking to him hahaha, and even said what was gonna happen after the fight will not be any of his responsbility haha khabib is king

Thanks for the video! I would love to see a video about locking your hands in the over under position when the wall isn't a factor. I know this position takes place in some styles of wrestling (such as Scottish Back Hold wrestling) but I don't really know it's purpose. I feel like if it was useful you would see it used more often in the well know styles like Greco and freestyle. Dose it have any utility in a submission grappling/ MMA setting?

As-salamu alaikum Aida, Coach Brian. Can we get a series for takedown recovery? I'm thinking hip heists/limp legging out, butterfly sweeps, crotch lifts, gut wrenches, keeping wizzers etc? I always find it so cool with a lot of those insane wrestlers that are just so difficult to keep down once they are taken down and wild scramble. I apologize if you have already made videos on this stuff, but you got like a trillion videos on your channel.

This is what I always think about with Khabib, if you're just fighting the takedowns you're already losing. You have to try and flow and reverse it. Look how Jones fought Chael
