Mr. Paulson is a gold mine. I'm surprise there aren't more eyes on him. Thanks for the uploads.

Paulson is a legend. Lots of people talk about Rickson when they talk grappling gods. Paulson forgot more about submissions than mr 400-0. If you have the opportunity to train with Mr. Paulson, you should cherish every moment. And I don't say that to be dramatic. Guy is a walking encyclopedia of submissions and MMA.

Good advice and yes, gloves on and avoiding punches, getting off your back is/should be the goal.

I liked it, one of the only few MMA coach that I know talks about MMA wasn't just for the purpose of sport.

Here, here, always keeping it real. Under Royce’s line you put the gloves on a lot...self-defense is what it’s all about imho.

Even in the Gracie Academy schools. You start with the standup stuff in every class and then you do ground techniques.

Train with all your street clothes on including shoes. Train with your snow jacket on. It changes a lot of things.

MMA is not the "end all be all" until they allow knees to grounded opponents, headbutts, 12-6 elbows, and soccer kicks

Everyone can be taken down? Hum.... Maybe but I bet you would have a hard time taking down Mark Hunt.
