I know what you mean but Chandler is such a tricky one given how well he's fought against every top 5er. He's so clearly world class and elite of the elite. Was winning round 3 (up on significant strikes) against improved Gaethje and threw it out to drop his hands and tank punches to entertain the MSG crowd. Then he was at least clearly winning round 2 and 3 against Poirier (and 4 and a half minutes of round 1 until Poirier knocked him down and began battering him) until Poirier seized a window and grabbed a submission.

Here’s the things you guys … The longer cooked the crazier it will be when it happens, especially if Chandler keeps beating the drum. McGregor is loving it. This will literally start to transcend UFC properly now. And I say When it happens because it’s not about money for mcgregor as such, it’s about respect. He wants UFC to bow and validate his perceived worth for his own ego. Something will give eventually but I do think Mcgregor wants to fight. A man who has everything has nothing left to do but competition. He’ll be craving that adrenaline 5 mins before a fight for at least one more rodeo. By waiting for Conor he went from potentially 4-5 more fights in his career to 2 or 3 max. Yeah if the fight happens he’ll make much more than the few potential fights he missed out on.
