It’s as simple as this….Driscus has never left Africa whilst fighting for the same thing both Kamaru and Izzy have never spent a single day in Africa fighting for. They literally have never trained one single day in Africa whilst Driscus has spent ever single day in Africa trying to achieve the same dream. Not only have they never trained in Africa for one day of their lives…they have not even lived there since they were about 10 yrs old if that…meaning neither of them have even spent ONE THIRD of their 32+ year lives in Africa. Driscus has spent his entire life living in Africa and utilizing only Africa’s training options to achieve the same dream Izzy and Usman left Africa to achieve. That's an ignorant point of view. You need to consider why Usman, Izzy and Francis left Africa. They left because they wouldn't have had any opportunities or any chance at a good life in Africa, does that make them any less African? Can they not be proud of their heritage because they were forced to leave for a better life? Dricus is also talking from the perspective of a very recent descendant of colonisers, whether he likes it or not. Do some research on apartheid if you're not sure about it. Dricus is obviously aware of the history, so for him to even touch this subject in any way (which he did, even if not literally) is just stupid.

South Africa has an exceptionally proud and patriotic sport scene. It is very important to us. It unites people and is one of our greatest post-apartheid achievements. The Springboks (look up the history! moto stronger together) specifically, is a world beacon when it comes to transformation. They are the world champions and took the cup on a bus tour across the country. Black people and white people in South Africa were partying through the night, together.
