Guy can't even come up with a reason why PEDs aren't allowed in combat sports lol. 1) basically its enhancing your ability to do harm through unnatural means - that will give your opponent more brain damage and injuries 2) if sports are open to PEDs that means everyone has to use, because PEDs are a HUGE advantage in terms of strength, recovery, endurance. Granted technique is king in MMA, but at the elite level the differences of PEDs can have big impacts. 3) do we really want to watch jacked PED freaks beating up natural men, sports are supposed to be fair and offer a level playing field under the rules.

There are hundreds of thousands of men on testosterone replacement therapy for decades. Sure, you could argue that TRT isn’t the same as someone who is using synthetic steroids for performance enhancing, but I would argue it is better to use the more advanced hormonal agents. The other part that gives it a bad name is that it is attractive to younger men who abuse them inappropriately. This can lead to bad outcomes. I can’t believe people are actually arguing that PEDs are good for sports. My biggest issue with this is how it influences kids, seeing athletes use PEDs makes them think it’s okay to do the same.
