You can say whatever you want about Gordon, but he has been the best at Jiu Jitsu for quite a good while. And yeah, the dude can sound less or more arrogant, but no one can take away his achievements. Steroids don't grant anyone that vast amount of techniques and perfect execution behind them. On the other hand, Mikey is well-spoken but he is not the standard of morals, and he is (subjectively speaking) miles away in terms of technique in comparison to Gordon. Even though comparisons are sometimes not called for. Sorry for my bad English, by the way. It is not my first language.

@@JambonJovii What about the other guys he has faced during his entire carreer? Why is it not the same argument or treatment as to say "He (this other competitor) wouldn't have made it that far without help from PEDs"? (of course, the last question about "the best" of a particular point of time is debatable, but one can get the point). Exactly. I love BJJ and submission grappling and it changed my life but every other martial art is laughing at BJJ and how embarrassing it is. Taking steroids to compete in a martial art that can easily injure, cripple and kill someone should be illegal and attempted murder. The board gotta be the biggest smooth brained peanut sized heads I’ve ever seen. You get paired up against literal super soldiers that can easily crank submissions and cripple you. Giving people biological weapons. How is any of that martial arts? BJJ is one of the hardest martial arts to get black belt in and I’m up for the challenge but competing in this sport has way more risk especially at the higher levels. It’s truly sad, I love BJJ, which is why I’m so frustrated seeing how this is being handled. Many talented grapplers don’t even compete because it’s not worth it and it’s truly a shame

When high level people in any domain or discipline are honest and vulnerable like Mikey, it shows kids that they can do it too if they work hard. It's okay to be afraid, to feel pressure, to falter. But you can choose to stay committed to your ideals. It's an adventure worth going on.

Why would people hate on this man for NOT doing STEROIDS? They should be hating on people for using peds. It's the cheaters mindset. If you have to cheat then you shouldn't be competing or compete in something less challenging like become a businessman.
