Great to see Rob getting into monster hunter. Its the best melee combat in gaming. The game is challenging and relaxing at the same time, its amazing, All weapons are so unique and its a game where weapons variety is done right. The combat system is so deep, picking up a new weapon is like learning combat in a different game, all the mini-systems, buttons, combos are weapon specific. Different weapons in almost any other game means difference in just swing time and range, how you input actions doesn't change. My top melee combat games are - Monster Hunter World/Rise, - Fromsoft games especially Sekiro, - dmc5/4, - Nioh 2, - Sifu, - Metal Gear Rising, dd2, ghost of tsushima (lethal difficulty), new god of wars, many other soulsike (lies of P, wo long, Surge 2, mortal shell, Lotf). Hope you find a recommendation And seeing you get a KO made me a happy man, enjoy your time post-fight.

Good. Sean being a diva only increases Rob's chances of being next. Sean doing Sean things today won't help his case either. It'll be a good matchup after Rob has the belt back but Rob will decimate Sean
@kadenmaguglin3922 ай бұрын
If that were the case he wouldn’t have accepted to fight costa. He defended his position as #1 contender, he’s the only fighter in the division that deserves the shot against Dricus but the ufc is idiotically screwing it up by making the Izzy fight. Should be Sean Dricus next with rob fighting the winner at the end of the year. Fits the schedule perfectly
@gqwarrior66942 ай бұрын
@kadenmaguglin392 Sean made the "only for the title" statement AFTER fighting Costa. Aside from that I agree with everything you wrote about the ufc screwing it up by giving Izzy the shot. You did just say Rob has earned it to in case you didn't realuse
@kadenmaguglin3922 ай бұрын
@@gqwarrior6694 yes Rob 100% earned his shot but unfortunately for him the other guy who also is deserving of the shot has a win and a razor close split decision to the two people who are fighting for the belt next, while Rob was ko by both of them. If Rob wants to wait it out, he’d be a perfect first title defense for Strickland. But if Strickland loses idk what they’ll do. I’d like to see Rob fight for the belt regardless

Question for Rob: Can you give us a deeper look into your weight cut process? Everyone always talks about the final water cut, but how do you manage your diet throughout camp to keep your energy for training while shaving off pounds? What do you aim to start camp at and where do you want to be when you start the water cut? And what's the protocol for recovering after you weigh in? I've done a few moderate weight cuts for local amateur stuff, and I've always felt like torn between wanting more calories for quality training but also wanting to lose a little extra weight throughout camp so the water cut/recovery isn't as rough. Congrats again on the win! Enjoy the downtime with your family.

I think ortega is a perfect matchup for lopes because in every fight ortega walks into range and he gets hit so much. In his fight with yair he got dropped twice in round one with punches and yair usually doenst drop people with punches, he uses kicks elbows and knees. And i think lopes just has a knack for finishing people. But if he cant do it in rd 1 it will be very interesting to see if he can keep the crazy pace he puts on
