MMBN4: PoisPhar + ElemIce

In BN4, Poison Pharaoh removes invisible frames. Element Ice's boost ability lets it hit 5 times but the 2nd hit causes flashing frames against bosses. I wanted to see the full potential of it. It's a ridiculous set-up but looks cool at least.

How does one get BassXX in BN4? Is it through some mod?

BassXX was originally an e-reader bonus for MMBN4 which also got brought over to 5. The Nintendo DS didn't have e-reader support, and so just put all the content inside Double Team from the get-go.

@@Kageryushin Bass Cross and Sol Cross required you to have a copy of the GBA versions BN5 Team Protoman _or_ Team Colonel(completed versions iirc), and Boktai... 2 I think? So they aren't quite available from the get go, you still needed to get extra-game equipment, it just so happens said equipment(outside of Boktai maybe) is more readily available than E Readers here in the US.

So if you use Hole, DarkLine and Anubis, which are all Dark Chips, for Poison Pharaoh, you don't lose HP?

Yeah. PAs don't count as dark chips. Can confirm as I've used the pa and haven't lost HP from it

Those aren't dark chips, they are evil chips. Big difference. Evil chips don't cause HP loss, they are only usable by evil Mega Man. There are two PAs that use evil chips: PoisPhar which you can use without being evil and DarkNeo for which you have to be evil.
