Yes. It finally happened. Moves are G-Cannon, a buncha expensive sounding chips, Investment Plan feat. Birdbot from Legends, and Glyde Glide.

Grant Brown I know right? But I guess they were going for Double Soul Navis, Normal/Heel Navis, and other Navis who strike as "unpleasant" enough that they wouldn't offer a Double Soul (except for TopMan and KendoMan). So if Glyde were to be a boss, he would most likely be in a tournament for any reason to fight MegaMan at all and as a close friend of MegaMan's, it would make the most sense for him to offer a DoubleSoul, but of what element, I wonder? In the past, I've always imagined him as a wind elemental Navi who could henceforth replace WindMan in Red Sun, but he's actually a non-combatant Navi who uses rare, expensive chips when actually fighting. I'm sorry, I'm talking too much; couldn't help but speak my mind here.

Concept: GlydeSoul/GlydeCross Non-Elem Type On the first turn, user gains a regular Aura that negates damage lower than 100. Disappears when the soul ends or cross is used up w/beastout When battles are won with GlydeSoul active, if Zenny is earned, it is doubled. B-Button grants a Vulcan attack that deals 20x5 damage like Vulcan 2, might deal more damage w/ buster upgrades. Hold A on Non-Elem chips that don't dim the screen and deal damage to add a bonus: either a flying duck or a giant coin will be shot at the enemy hit as an addition. The duck deals additional damage while the coin adds a stun. If beastcross (most likely with Falzar): Hold A with non-dim non-elem chip. Megaman releases a golden cannon that shoots a large 3x3 explosion around whatever it hits, like a gigacannon, but the duck/zenny bonus still applies. If there was a ChaosUnision with Glyde, the dark chip might be a dark cannon

I think that's because Glyde wasn't design for battles, like Roll and Meddy (we only battled them to have a recovery based doublesoul in BN4 and 5), and Yai didn't show any interest in netbattling for fun like Lan and Dex.

In the anime it just seemed her prowess was very dependent to the opponent not knowing how to deal with her rare battlechips, not so much her skill, and maybe that’s also why she was defeated at the tournament, Glyde probably could’ve been very op on the right hands

If I had the ability (and it was possible to fit within the game's code), here's what I'd do: Make every attack he uses out of a chip, but better. Do it for as many chips as possible. A Cannon that acts as a TankCannon is a start - give him a Shockwave that tracks like Gospel's in 2, a Quake the size of NumberMan's eraser from 5, a Fanfare that acts as Discord at the same time (confuse + invuln) and never shuts up, a DrillArm with HeroSword range instead of LongSword, etcetera. He doesn't use any of his own stuff, just chips - and all of the chips are clearly beyond your wallet. Give him MarkCannon for two reasons: it's Cannon but better, and it's a collecter's item - in 6, you can't get those anymore. Give him DarkAura from 3 for the same reason. Maybe two-eyed Sensors. A combo of Geddon and Sanctuary that gives him all Holy and you all poison. AreaGrab with a PanelGrab at the same time. If possible, come up with a GL (for Glyde, or for Gold) version of every single chip, and make sure that in any version, he only uses chips that the player can be expected to have seen by that point in the game. Maybe skip versions, since Glyde himself isn't changing much, and link it directly to the player's Library - Yai sees what you got and buys herself a better version, using [chip-name]2 if you've only got the weakest, 3 if you've got 2, and the GL version if you've got all 3. Looking at the library is definitely possible, since the DarkMega fights did it in 4 and 5 (and the BeastMega in 6? not sure). The only place the game might not be able to take it is the bit where it basically adds another fifty or so attacks that have to fit in memory. Still, I think it'd be worth it.

DarkMega doesn't read your Library, DarkMega actually has a data section that just tracks what Chips you've ever used for it to use, and G/FBeast MegaMan have their own attacks, not mimicking MegaMan, and BeastOver just uses any chips you fed MegaMan that turn randomly, they don't pull them out of thin air

Fine. DarkMega has a devoted section of data to track his own chips, which is going to be a subset of the player's Library and actually more work for the programmers than just checking the library would have been since they need to reserve that much extra space, so it's at least theoretically possible to make work (if perhaps not within the amount that can be changed by mods without rewriting a significant portion of engine).

Dude! This looks legit! I've always wondered what Glyde is all about in battle. Even if this is fanmade, it is too well done. Let's see, if I had to determine an elemental theme for Glyde, it could easily be Non-elemental, and yet too unique even for that. He's got a holy vibe embellished with money… but when I think of money, I think of +/- in Battle Network elements (same attribute as NumberMan in BN4-5), but he's definitely different… Would it make sense to label him a Light elemental? (Ignore the fact that "light" is not an element here, I'm going with my own layout.)

I think this battle is very accurate, except the cannon. He is not a fighting navi, so that cannon seems a little too powerful for a navi that isn't strong. The expensive chips and money make cents tho. You should give him a gigachip instead of the cannon.
