I've always said, if they follow the CHUG ideology with Arcee, they can absolutely get a near/zero-backpack design with ease. I hate this idea of accuracy over fun. As an Engineer, intuitive transformations are more impressive and enjoyable than complex ones (case in point, Unique Toys).

@@DrLockdown I got mine off Ebay for a similar price, since for some reason new copies are scalped to high heaven. FB Marketplace definitely has some deals to be sure! I'm not usually one to spend on stuff like Transformers toys, even though I love them, but I've bought all of the big UT releases (Dragoon, Challenger, Peru Kill, Nero). While I have had some unfortunate QC issues with Dragoon, I still overall am incredibly happy with the figures. Out of all of them, I think Peru Kill is the easiest to "pick up and play". He's also the cheapest and easiest to transform, and suffers from none of the QC issues that some copies of the other UT toys unfortunately have.

This is an interesting figure because of how I feel it’s turned out in the span of history. We’re used to figures like Weijang KOs, where 3P takes Hasbro’s basic outline and refines it into something on another level. With Kultur, Hasbro ended up essentially taking a 3P design and refining *that*. Hinged shoulders, no leg kibble. Every problem one could find with this guy was accounted for, and at mass retail. I’m not saying anyone HAS to prefer the Legacy, I just find it interesting

i picked mine around the start of this year and he is easily one of if not my favorite third party figures ever, hes currently standing with my chug figures and he perfectly blends in, in fact im heavily thinking about picking up other members of the DJD to go with him, both MMC and iron factory

This one was my second Third Party figure and remains my favourite in the overall collection to this very day, and I highly doubt that anything is going to top him. He definitely is special in a sense that no other figure is.

I saw an image of Tarn in Emperor Kumquats' video and I thought "Oh my Primes! I need to look at this DrLockdown channel" because I literally want to know stuff about the toys because I have a small collection because I worry about accuracy and if it's actually quality; I say small collection because it's literally just a thrilling 30 Brainstorm and three flame toy models. I actually paused this video once I found it (and after watching another video of yours) just so I can tell you another Transformers channel got me to come here. Hit that subscribe button and smacked the notification bell because once I'm done watching this video I'm checking out more of your other videos because your video on the dark age of animation has me interested on what you have to say on other things besides Transformers.

One thing I noticed is how similar this transformation is to the actual chug figure of yarn we have now. Makes me wonder if the people responsible of that actually took some inspiration for this figure here.

Probably not. Alex Milne baked the conversion into the original design, in case they ever needed to make a toy out of it. It's a common thing he does, so of course there are going to be similarities. Exactly the same thing with the iron factory version.

I'm one of those people that thanks to the comics I wanted Tarn, but at that point this one was sold out and Iron Factory's is too small, luckily Super Megatron can stand in as 'Archforce'. Also seeing what you said about Tyrant makes me wonder how much he is going for, I got him and WJ Commander for just slightly more than I paid for MPM Jazz and Bumblebee.

If you don't have them yet, I recommend MMC's take on Drift, Chromedome, and Rewind. They all have transformations that are downright addictive once mastered. Optus Pexus is...pretty good. But there's something about it that feels less enjoyable.

Well aplha pack is incredibly well built, endlessly posable, has no kibble whatsoever in either mode and is painted absolutely ridiculously. I messed with the TFC Rolling Thunder Prime once and it was good, but not amazing

Third party, legally speaking, is classified as bootlegs. Not knockoffs, but definitely bootlegs. Third party is actually just a made up term from the fandom, and legally only applies to licensed companies like flame toys and three zero. I just follow the fandom terminology though
