Rhona is a great vocalist and I love the way Nita backs her up in this song. The two of them really sounded good together. Justin Timberlake came from MMC....as well as Christina A. and Brittany Spears, but there were others from the MMC family that was just as talented in my opinion.

Disney did an AWFUL job handling the MMC album. Just awful. They had some of the most talented young vocalists in the biz and they chose no name, generic writers and producers and the kids didn't get to write anything. How does Matt freaking Morris not get ONE solo on the whole album? At that time Matt was really kind of Tevin-lite. He was really serving soulful R&B vibes and it was an absolute crime that he didn't get one solo. "Merry Go Round" is bop, though, to this day and arguably the hottest joint on the whole album. But yeah, overall, the MMC album was a total bust. It was a quick money grab and ended up flopping. I wonder what they would have done if Disney had hired super producers and allowed the kids a little creative input. Oh well.

Keri even said this herself in an interview, she wasn’t really that great of a singer. Also, I forgot the name of the documentary but it had something to do with MMC and one of the people who were casting for MMC saw her and said they thought she was so gorgeous and knew she had to be on the show in some way, even though singing wasn’t really her strong suit. They mainly hired her to act and dance because that was what she was best at and she was.
