ReallGreat video with superb editing my partner and I did a Picos and Northern Spain trip last July 2 up on our Vespa, and it was amazing, the scenery and roads were brilliant as were the towns and villages, we also stayed at the Valdecoro hotel on our first couple of nights, lovely little hotel, I am heading back this September on a 60 day solo tour and will be starting in the Picos again, albeit on my Himalayan this time as a little retirement present to myself!, meeting my partner in the Algarve for a week along route, thanks for sharing your adventures

Great video. I certainly agree its a buzz getting on a ferry, then departing into a foreign country. Thoroughly enjoyed rides to the Bol d'Or and Le Mans. Now living in Australia, so its a VERY long ride to find a foreign country! Just back from 6000kms ride to the MotoGP at Phillip Island via the Snowy Mountains, Blue Mountains and The Great Divide. Magic roads for bikers, sadly we had to avoid a couple of favourites due to bush fires. Glad to see you are making the most of Europe, I wish I had done it more when I was in the UK. I look forward to future episodes.

What a fun trip through the northern zone of Spain, always green and with fun roads. Admit me a tip for travelers with half purchasing power. To sleep and eat spectacularly, you can stay in 4-star hotels called PARADORES. You search the web ... PARADORES SPAIN. you can go from one to another touring the entire Spanish geography ... and the good thing is that these hotels are good and are always located in spectacular areas ... A very good example is PARADOR DE RONDA ...(from spain)

Just discovered your Chanel, excellent footage, very enjoyable, subscribed and looking forward to your next upload. I am hoping to ride to Nordcapp in June 2021, ferry Newcastle/Amsterdam booked just have to see what restrictions are in place by then. I have a go pro hero 5 but still haven't figured out the best way to edit my recordings. Trying different software but I think my laptop isn't powerful enough to process the final product. What do you use to edit your footage? Keep up the good work.

Thanks very much Mark! We really appreciate your comments! Your trip in June sounds fantastic, fingers crossed for no more restrictions 🤞- we’re planning a trip to France in June too! Hi Geoff - glad you enjoyed watching our Spanish adventures! You’ll really have a great time if you do the trip, Spain is such a biker friendly country with fantastic roads. In terms of cost, it was a few years ago now so we’re not exactly sure but including ferries ( which aren’t cheap 😳) it was probably in the region of 2.5 K 🤔 - but well worth it. Hope you have a great trip! 😀👍

Looks like you're staying in slightly better hotels than you did on your Alaska to Argentina ride. Did the hotels you booked have secure motorcycle parking? And did you ask beforehand or just take a chance. Also, did you book the hotels before you left home or just a day in advance? You can probably guess that I'm thinking of doing something similar in the, not too distant, future.
@midlifemotorcyclediaries4 жыл бұрын
geoff newman Hi Geoff! You’re right, they were much better hotels! Mainly because Sue wouldn’t rough it like I did on the Pan American! We booked everything beforehand but you don’t have to. In fact, if you don’t you have much more flexibility. If you’re planning on doing it you’ll have a ball! 😀👍
@jonathanevans6935 Жыл бұрын
What a great trip! Apologies I'm years late in tuning in but, it has piqued my interest in taking the ferry and visiting the Picos. Do you happen to still have a note of your route and the hotels anywhere? I realise it's interspersed in the series itself of course. 👍👍 Keep up the great work.
