Oh dang that's not where I thought it was going. I thought the Vizier was trying to get wards and protection stuff to protect himself from the lich, but that voice at the end was perfection! The system is slowly taking shape in my mind after I watched the 3 episodes again and again and the success level system is fascinanting, different level of success dictates how the narrative goes, the lower it is the closer it is to a "yes but" result

So, I'm perpetually astonished about the amount of success levels you set out to reach, the height of skill levels you roll on and that SOMEHOW you manage to thread that needle. Rolling 6 SL on a skill in the 70s? that's like a 10% roll. For a well trained skill and a very low impact spell, so not terribly demanding circumstances. You gotta talk about how you come up with these goals, it seems you have some intuitive balancing going on that just works well.

Oh man I really hope the ‘consequence die’ you start rolling after 3 failures (and if you roll less then something bad happens) is a set permanent core rule. Works in so many situations and is very unique but feels just similar enough to other mechanics to be very intuitive!

The only issue i had with this amazing episode was you rolled "move away from thread" with the lich yet it seemed like you instead the opposite and moved closer.

I love this series. I do have to say that whenever you have said Mot Serath, I can't help but have my mind think matzoh ball. 🤪. Appropriate this time of year, though. Maybe do a Space Balls version with that character. Muahaha.
