To be honest the craziest for me was the grunge crumpled look...."i'm asking myself-who is going to wear that?" i always end up eating my own words...also chaps...that's so odd to me. How will that be applied in the real world...even crazier is the miniskirt going into chaps then to pants i mean Wha...huh!? That being said im loving the reemergence of an elevated Y2K, Maxi skirts, Fringes and Hoods. I'm always here for a great hood moment. Thanks for another great video.

I credit Lily Silk for bringing back cargo pants. The first ones I saw, about four years ago, were their silk cargo joggers, I bought them in several colors. The pockets on silk clothes can’t hold more than a card or bus ticket, but I just loved the look of these and their comfort is superb. I carry a bag, I don’t need pockets on most clothes, but I like them on jackets and coats.

I’m size 14 and now a days it is hard for me to tell anyone in plus size that they can’t wear anything. I feel that fat phobia is tied into that too so as long as some one is comfortable with what they are wearing good for them I can only say what I wouldn’t like for myself.

Your English proficiency has expanded exponentially in the few years I’ve been watching, great job! As you probably discovered, just talking and listening a lot does the trick. As for this season’s trends, there are several I dislike because the brands are just pushing new ways to get us to buy polyester crap, like sheers and meshes. Also, those plasticky embellishments - never. That said, there are some great trends, too.

Ok will do, thanks for the tip. I just started timing the new season I’m working on with one video up and working on other 2 so far I have spent 150 hrs 😅 at the end I’ll divide total time by total number of videos to get the average, but so far it is way too scary of a number 🙈.

I hope this comment doesn’t come across as too contrary Mary! I always love your trend reporting, but I have some other ideas to share about styling…🫣! I actually do really love the boat shoe, they are readily available in op (thrift) shops and are usually leather & really great quality… worn with or without a great sock, as long as it is juxtaposed with some skin… and that the rest of the look is really feminine… very Miuccia Prada ( my all time favourite designer 😬) I can see myself wearing my fantastic tan leather landrover boat shoes with skirts, midi slip dresses, above ankle (ankle skimming) pants for years to come! The western element for me is a classic, but I totally agree with you on this one Leonie, that it is just an element that is the key…moderation in everything or else we will look like we are heading to a ho-down boot scooting party!🤭 I adore ALL cardigans long, cropped, to the waist ANY CARDIGAN the only proviso is that it is all natural fibres…the cardigan is the true love of my life, so much more practical, ease of allowing aeration, layering to show peaks of what is underneath, I will never give up on my cardigan collection! A cardigan trumps a jumper for layering purposes all day everyday! I don’t feel the frump… it’s all in the styling!😍🫶🏽🌸😜 Thanks again for all your hard work in putting together this trend report!
